Siti Aisyah was shocked when arrested in Ampang hotel, says cop

SHAH ALAM: Siti Aisyah was lying on a bed in a hotel room in Ampang when she was arrested in connection to the murder of North Korean Kim Chol, said the officer who made the arrest.
Supt Nasri Mansor said the suspect was in Room 356 of the hotel when the raid took place on Feb 16.
"As we reached the room, I observed that the door was slightly ajar. I knocked on the door and entered the room," he said on Wednesday (Nov 15).
Supt Nasri said he introduced himself and showed his authority card. He informed the suspect that his team was raiding the room.
Upon further inspection, the team seized two mobile phones, a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses in its case, USD$300 (RM1254), a Louis Vuitton bag, a pair of shoes, a pair of denim pants, a sleeveless top, a shawl and a passport.
During cross-examination, the witness disagreed with a suggestion by defence counsel Gooi Soon Seng that Siti Aisyah wasn't alone in the room.
Gooi had asked if two other women - Mey and Wati - were there with Siti Aisyah in the room when she was arrested.
Supt Nasri was testifying in the trial of Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, and Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong, 28, who are jointly charged, with four men still at large, with killing Kim Chol, 45, at the KL
International Airport 2 departure hall on Feb 13.
Kim Chol is the alias used by Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, whenever he travelled.
The hearing continues before Justice Azmi Ariffin on Thursday (Nov 16).
