Chong Wei to meet Chen Long at Hong Kong Open

Shuttler Lee Chong Wei (pic) has set up a mouth-watering clash against Chen Long of China for the first time in 15 months in the men's singles final at the Hong Kong Open.
On Saturday, the 35-year-old Chong Wei showed his prowess when he crushed Shi Yuqi of China 21-19, 21-8 in just 39 minutes in the semi-finals at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Kowloon.
It is Chong Wei's third final appearance in a Superseries this year. He won the All-England in March and finished as the runners-up at the Japan Open.
The two-time world champion Chen Long fought hard to beat Anders Antonsen of Denmark 21-14, 19-21, 21-17 in a one-hour and 27 minutes semi-final match.
Chen Long and Chong Wei last met in the final at the Rio Olympic Games in August last year. Then, Chen Long trooped home as a winner.
The women's singles final will be between P.V. Sindhu of India and Tai Tzu-ying of Taiwan.
