Perak Pribumi chief says questions on his leadership 'subjective'

IPOH: Perak Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) chief Ahmad Faizal Azumu says questions regarding his leadership are subjective.
"Issues about my weaknesses on my leadership are subjective. I seek their forgiveness if I was not good enough for them," Ahmad Faizal said in an SMS on Friday (Oct 20) with regard to the departures of two party division leaders.
On Thursday (Oct 19), Parit Pribumi division chief Rosli Ali announced his decision to quit while Kuala Kangsar division chief Dul Hayati Baheran said he was resigning from his post but would remain with the party.
Rosli said he felt that the state party had lost its direction while Dul Hayati said was he was not confident that Ahmad Faizal could lead Pakatan Harapan to win the state in the next general election.
"I am saddened by that but I have to respect the decisions made.
"However, at the same time, I am thankful for the support and commitment given by members from the Parit and Kuala Kangsar divisions to continue their struggle with Pribumi" he said.
