Johor Sultan sets Wednesdays for briefing by state officials

PETALING JAYA:  The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has set Wednesdays as an “Open Day” for state officials to update him on developments in the state.
Sultan Ibrahim said he will make himself available for the heads of departments and government officials at the Mados office that is located within Istana Bukit Pelangi, Johor Baru.
"This is to ensure development projects by the Johor State Government and its agencies truly benefit the people,” said a statement by the Royal Press Office.
"At these meetings, Sultan Ibrahim will go through various documents and/or presentations given to him, especially those relating to development programmes and initiatives for the people," the statement added on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Sultan Ibrahim granted audiences to Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Council of Johor Royal Court president Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli, Johor Islamic Council adviser Datuk Noh Gadut, Johor Baru mayor A. Rahim Nin and Johor Public Works Department director Mohd Salleh Abu Bakar.
