Google Assistant comes to TV sets running Android

In the habit of yelling at your TV? Some sets will soon be able to respond: Google is bringing its voice assistant to smart televisions running Android TV.
Nvidia's Shield TV box is the first device to receive it, with Sony's Bravia TV sets expected to follow "in coming months," according to the company.
The feature will be released in the US first, but based on previous experience with the initial launch of Google Assistant, other regions and languages can be expected to be added in the future.
Users will be able to operate their devices largely using the voice control options provided by Google Assistant. Other devices connected to the home wi-fi network can also be managed this way.
Nvidia's Game Controller or the remote control of television sets with built-in microphones are used as interfaces.
