Search and rescue ops for two missing men

MIRI: Rescue squads are carrying out search and rescue (SAR) operations in two separate locations in central Sarawak to find two men who are feared to have drowned.
The State Fire and Rescue Department said the SAR has been intensified at Pantai Belawai in Sarikei district for ship worker Louis Tibong, 24.
He is believed to have fallen overboard while working on a ship nine days ago.
So far, searches along the coastline and river mouths have been fruitless.
In a separate incident at 5pm on Monday at RH Selangau Mill near Mukah town, a palm oil worker fell into a pond while working.
Heritino Pai, a 29-year-old Indonesian man, has been missing since.
In another incident on Monday, Bomba personnel found the corpse of a man in the Rajang River at Nanga Iran village at about 8am.
The body did not have any personal documents and police are still trying to ascertain the man’s identity.
