MAS Airbus A350 paint job revealed, delivery date confirmed

PETALING JAYA: Airbus has finished the paint job on the very first Malaysia Airlines A350 XWB, with the European plane-maker sharing the good news on their official Facebook page.
"Beautiful! The very first Malaysia Airlines #A350 XWB rolling out from the paint shop!" read the captioned photos, both of which were posted on Wednesday evening, garnering over a thousand reactions and hundreds of shares.
According to Malaysia Airlines' Facebook post, the aircraft would be delivered by November 2017.
Facebook user Francis Ong said the aircraft looked "beautiful and simple", while Mitchell Lim said he is "most eager" to know what the interior is like.
However, Feizal Ibrahim was more nostalgic and professed a love for "the bright, old red colour livery" at the aircraft's tail, with Juwita Anne Aziz sharing a similar adoration for the old MAS livery.
Bernama reported in March that Malaysia Airlines had signed a lease agreement with Air Lease Corp in Sept 2015 for four A350-900s to be delivered from the fourth quarter of 2017 to the middle of 2018.
A few weeks' delay had occurred in the delivery of two Airbus A350 as the cabin alignment came in a bit late, but Airbus Commercial Aircraft president and Airbus chief operating officer Fabrice Brégier said Malaysia Airlines (MAB) Bhd would receive them by year-end.
This aircraft is already being used in the region by Vietnam Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways.
