MACC raids Jana Niaga office in KL and Unisel in Shah Alam

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) raided a company on Jalan 4/76C here.
Four uniformed officers from the national anti-graft body arrived at a Jana Niaga office here at 10.25am on Tuesday in a vehicle with dark tinted windows.
They spent hours inside the premises and left carrying documents in two large boxes at 4.26pm.
When asked about the documents, one of the officers said they were documents from 2011 onwards.
It is believed the MACC raids are related to a report lodged with it against Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and Mentri Besar Incorporated (MBI)  over a dispute between Unisel and its contractor Jana Niaga.
Earlier, six MACC officers arrived at Unisel at its campus in Section 7, Shah Alam, at 9.50am in two separate vehicles.
MACC officers were also at MBI's office at Bangunan Darul Ehsan in Shah Alam.
Meanwhile, the MACC also concluded a six-and-a-half hour raid at Universiti Selangor (Unisel) in Section 7 here.
MACC officers were seen carrying four cardboard boxes from the Treasurer's office at the university campus here at 4.30pm Tuesday and loading them into their vehicles.
The operation began at 9.50am when six uniformed officers entered the campus and were greeted by the university's staff members.
A spokesman from the university told reporters that the university would cooperate fully with the MACC investigation.
