Flash floods and traffic jams in Klang Valley

PETALING JAYA: A storm on Friday evening is causing massive traffic jams along major roads in the Klang Valley.
Flash floods were reported at several locations, including Jalan Maarof Bangsar, from Maybank to Telawi and Taman Maluri,near Sunway.
Astro Radio Traffic reported flash floods in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim after the Semantan intersection which is adding on to a crawl from the KDN Complex to Parliament.
At 6pm, heavy traffic was reported on the following roads:
Jalan Cheras, Sunway Velocity Mall, Jalan Pudu, Besraya Interchange;
Jalan Ampang, AKLEH, MRR2;
NKVE: Sungai Buloh rest area to Shah Alam;
Jalan Tunku Abdul Halim, Jalan Semantan - Mont Kiara - Jalan Istana;
LDP: Puchong South Toll - Bandar Puteri - Damansara;
ELITE: Putrajaya - Shah Alam;
MRR2: Zoo Negara - Ampang;
Federal Highway: Klang - Subang Jaya;
NPE: Pantai Dalam Toll -  Jalan Bangsar;
Earlier report:
Star Media Traffic on its twitter account reported slow moving traffic along the Subang Airport Road from Federal Highway and Citta Mall to the Glenmarie MRT station.
On the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), traffic is backed up from Zoo Negara to Taman Hillview while delays are also seen on the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) from Sri Petaling to Awan Kecil and Kinrara to Puchong Jaya.
Plusline on its twitter account reported that the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) is experiencing slow moving traffic from Bukit Lanjan to Subang and from Shah Alam to Damansara due to heavy rains.
The Kerinchi Link is also backed up from the Pantai toll towards Kuala Lumpur via the Federal Highway.
The Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway also shows a delay of 20 to 30 minutes from the Sungai Besi toll to TUDM.
