3rd suspect nabbed in abduction of Port Dickson 9-year-old

PORT DICKSON: Police have arrested a third suspect in the abduction of a 9-year-old girl here on Monday.
Port Dickson acting district police chief deputy superintendent Rujiman Agos said the 17-year-old was picked up at Taman Margosa in Seremban at 10.45pm yesterday.
"We have now arrested three suspects (in the case) and they have been remanded to facilitate police investigations," said Rujiman.
On Wednesday, two students at a higher education institution were remanded as part of a probe on the abduction of Faralysa Amani Fazil, who went missing from her house following a break-in.
The two suspects, aged 18 and 21, were arrested at a shopping mall here while they were about to buy movie tickets.
The duo has been remanded six and four days respectively, starting yesterday.
The remand order against all three suspects was issued by the Seremban Special Remand court to facilitate investigations under Section 363 of the Penal Code and Section 14 (a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
In the 6.45am incident on Monday, Faralysa's father, Fazil Abdullah, 35, discovered his daughter missing from her room when he went to wake her up for school.
She was believed to have been abducted by prowlers who had broken into the house, and was missing for 15 hours.
Faralysa was found at 9.15pm on the same day when the abductors dropped her off in front of the guard house of the Port Dickson Polytechnic.
She was subsequently sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital here for a check-up and treatment.
