Umno, PPBM Youths face off over Nothing to Hide 2.0 forum

KUALA LUMPUR: Youth members from Umno and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) were involved in a scuffle at Sunway Putra Mall here this afternoon.
It is learnt that the altercation between the two groups started around 2.30pm when PPBM members tried to hand over an "invitation letter" to Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak to attend the “Nothing to Hide 2.0” forum scheduled for next month.
Before they could make their way to the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) next door, they were surprised by Umno Youth members who refused to allow them to leave the premises.
The altercation was even captured on video and had started to make its rounds on social media.
The video showed a man in while shirt, believed to be Umno Youth exco member Armand Azha Abu Hanifah arguing with a man in red shirt, believed a leader of the PPBM group.
At one point, police were forced to intervene and prevented the scuffle from escalating further.
Last week, PPBM chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had invited Najib to the forum, to answer for the allegations of wrongdoing in their respective premierships.
