A Singaporean mother with child nabbed for offering marry with IS member

Syaikhah Izzah Zahrah Al Ansari, 22 year old Singaporean Woman who was planning go to Syria and her child and marry an ISLAMIC STATE(IS) member.
Syaikhah Izzah Zahrah Al Ansari worked at a community of nursery and she was detained under Internal Security Act(ISA), Ministry of Home Affairs said.
"Izzah intent to join the IS and was planning to make her way to Syria with her child, she supported IS use of violence to establish and defend its self-declared 'caliphate' and aspired to live there" the ministry said in statement.
Izzah became radicalized when she was 18 after watch propaganda video from IS extremist group and form an extensive network foreign contacts, including IS fighter and IS extremist group supporters, Ministry of Home Affairs added.
 She believe that who has husband died in battle field would give her elevated status and she could easily remarry in Syria. Her family has trued to persuade her out of it but no avail.
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore said that incident demonstrated the threat of self radicalisation is very real.
"Someone may fall prey to false narrative and teachings on the internet and social media, such that even a real life support structure may not be able to counter them." the council said.
Singapore considers itself as a prime target for terrorists because of the anti-terror role it plays and the interior ministry has warned that terrorism threat was at its highest in recent years.
Since 2015, 14 Singaporeans have been detained under the ISA for radicalism which allows for detention without trial up for up to two years.
The region has been on high alert in recently following a takeover of Marawi in the southern Philippines by Islamist militants flying black flag of IS.
